The Heart behind Lock and Key
Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. Whether I'm getting lost in a great book (I've run a book club for five years!), enjoying music, theater, or finding inspiration in everyday moments, I see the world through an artistic lens. With becoming an empty nester, I've taken my newfound empty spaces in our home, and poured my passion into creating a space where people feel seen, empowered, and celebrated.
I know firsthand what it's like to struggle with self-confidence and feel uneasy in front of the camera. But stepping in front of the lens myself- again and again-has been transformative. It's given me a deeper understanding of what my clients feel and a unique perspective on how to create an experience that's comfortable, empowering, and fun. That's what fuels Lock and Key Photography, helping people see themselves in a whole new way.
At home, life is never dull with my fur babies always keeping me on my toes. My home studios are a true reflection of who I am- warm, creative, and filled with passion for what I do. And at the heart of it all-love.
My approach
To me, photography is more than just pictures-it's about storytelling. It's about unlocking the emotion, connection, and beauty in every moment. My approach is natural, fun, and stress-free, so you can simply be yourself while I capture the magic. But I promise this doesn't mean I put you in front of the camera with no direction. I empower you to embrace your most authentic self through pose guidance and prompts that brings out your truest emotions. I believe in the healing power of seeing yourself in a new light. So, whether we are laughing through a family session, or capturing headshots with personality, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and radiant.

Serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Lock and Key Photography is based in North Fort Worth, where my home studios provide a private and stylish space for portrait sessions with a studio look. We also travel throughout the DFW area for on location sessions, ensuring each client's vision comes to life in the perfect setting.
